JYR Architect, PC is a custom service architectural firm that specializes in design for renovations and new construction of Commercial and Residential properties. We can assist with planning for residential infill communities and entitlement services in connection with property planning and re-zoning. The firm is licensed in SC and the Principal Architect, James Y. Robinson, Jr. is also licensed in SC and holds a current NCARB Certificate.

MEET JAmes Robinson

James Robinson is the principal architect of JYR Architect PC. He has over 40 years of experience in the field and is licensed in SC and holds a current NCARB Certificate.


James has a Masters of Architecture from Rice University and a Bachelor of architecture from Tulane University. He founded JYR over 15 years ago and is committed to exceptional design, and sound engineering.

    Although we have done a large body of residential work, we can also take on medium to small commercial projects.

    Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Thursday:  9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Saturday: Closed

  • How large is the tream at JYR?

    JYR Architect PC is a small private practice. We have a professional, detail oriented team of 5 employees. When you work with JYR you get the small business expereince  of exceptional customer's service and direct communication with the our architectural engineers, draftsmen, and owner.
